The 27th chapter of Brothers Keepers Firefighter MC and first chapter in WV is the Kanawha Valley chapter formed in July 2014. We are a family of dedicated firefighters that enjoy riding when not on call and giving back to our community. Our club is comprised of both active and retired firefighters. Located in the Kanawha Valley, we have firefighters representing many of the surrounding fire departments. Christmas Miracles In the Appalachians!
In a rather dramatic fashion, Chapter 27 is blessed to have the opportunity to leap in when most needed this Christmas- and it wasn't intentional!
The host of Camp Appalachia received calls about families in need of support to share in the festive cheer of the Christmas season this week, and as they always do, they accepted this challange before they knew how they'd ever fund the endeavor. In a twist that can only be attributed to intervention from On High, Chapter 27 President, J-rod, happened to be the next phone call the host of Camp received with one question.... "When can I bring you this check from the money we raised for you this year?"
Pres J-rod delivered a check for $2,300 which will help bring some festivity to families in the Kanahwa Valley in need of some love from their community this Christmas season.
In keeping with the spirit of the Holiday season, miracles triumph over desperation!
